even from here
i can hear the crunch of your brittle
ribcages as your bones sunder.

they're all entranced by your lithe body,
dark beauty.

you haunt;
silhouette teetering on the blurred edges of our memories.
we see your phoenix eyes from behind ember hair.
perhaps you're a static soul,
with spirits resting on the trivial skyward curve of your lips,
but i know you make nightly trips down to hell.
has no one noticed:
       you're not breathing?

you're afraid to lose your lows;
(life sprouts)
but there's a clinquant world out there.
believe:
the earth doesn't have to be cold,
and you can still smell the petrichor.

you're
free to brood. but
remember:
these woebegone nights
       (music and black and salty lips)
don't have to last forever.

one day you won't feel this pain anymore.
Has no one told you she's not breathing?
-
Soon I know I'll wake from this dream
Don't try to fix me I'm not broken
Hello, I'm still here
All that's left of yesterday.

for a girl whom i'm afraid is terribly depressed.
we're not even friends.
& actually, for everyone out there who needs something. and perhaps for me, too.

does the end flow alright?
how are the descriptions? imagery?

'clinquant world', 'woebegone'... so much goodness in this :)

...:hug:
